There are lots of bakeries in Vancouver, Canada, but you'll be hard pressed to find another place that sells Japanese-style sweet and savoury buns that are made freshly daily. In addition, when you come to pick up your daily bread, you can also buy all of your other favourite Japanese grocery items.
Japanese-style buns were developed in the 1800's to suit Japanese tastes and evolved from the idea of wagashi (Japanese sweets). These days, there are many different types of buns with different flavours, fillings and forms. Suzuya has a variety of different buns, and many seasonal offerings. From the old standards to the new unusual combinations, Suzuya's savoury buns are too good to go without.
A Japanese favourite! Filled with homemade Japanese-style beef curry then lightly fried. These make a great lunch or hearty snack. Try them warm too!

All of Suzuya's Japanese buns are handmade fresh every morning and sometimes sell out quickly, so to avoid disappointment, place an order using the pdf order form.
