Suzuya's famous handmade Japanese buns

Freshly made Japanese-style baked goods.
Japanese buns and bread are available in Burnaby (near Vancouver)
There are lots of bakeries in Vancouver, Canada, but you'll be hard pressed to find another place that sells Japanese-style sweet and savoury buns that are made freshly daily. In addition, when you come to pick up your daily bread, you can also buy all of your other favourite Japanese grocery items.

Japanese-style buns were developed in the 1800's to suit Japanese tastes and evolved from the idea of wagashi (Japanese sweets). These days, there are many different types of buns with different flavours, fillings and forms. Suzuya has a variety of different buns, and many seasonal offerings. They are all made fresh every morning and sometimes sell out quickly.    Suzuya Location Map >>
